Karine is a policy professional in Berlin specializing in urban policy, climate action, and the financial instruments that underpin them.

Her background spans the private, public, and non-profit sectors, including municipal networks.

Karine holds a multidisciplinary foundation with a Master of Science in Urban Studies and Geography, and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations. Her core professional interest lies at the intersection of housing policy, financialisation, and public finance.

She has extensive experience living and working across Europe, has conducted research in Brazil, and currently works with EU and Eastern Partnership countries. Identifying as a person of the world, Karine is dedicated to learning new languages and cultures.
