Stanislas is an independent policy consultant focusing on the role of central banks and EU financial policies in supporting the green transition. Previously, he founded and directed Positive Money Europe, where he led campaigns to align the European Central Bank with climate goals and strengthen its democratic accountability.
Based in Brussels, Stanislas continues to advise NGOs, think tanks, and policymakers on sustainable finance, monetary policy, and EU governance. His ongoing clients include Sustainable Finance Lab, New Economics Foundation, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) EU and Transport & Environment.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a journalist covering the Eurozone crisis and co-organised the European Citizens’ Initiative for Universal Basic Income.
