Ilaria Ballarini

As Visual Communications Officer, Ilaria is in charge of developing and maintaining the visual identity of Finance Watch.

Ilaria has a background in international communications, with experience in strategy development and implementation, visual production and digital content.

Before joining Finance Watch, she planned and developed communication strategies for small NGOs and private entities, as well as contributed to international organisations such as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights.

She has a master’s degree in languages for communication in international settings and is particularly interested in using visual communication to make complex policy issues more accessible to the public.
